Life Journal (“the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

• Personal Data You Enter: Journal entries, notes, asset records, and any attachments you add (e.g., photos, documents).
• Backup Data: If you create encrypted backups, they remain stored locally on your device or in your chosen storage location.

2. How Your Data Is Used

• All data you enter stays on your device.
• Encrypted backups are created solely for your own use and migration to other devices.
• We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data with third parties.

3. Permissions Used

• Storage/Media: To allow you to save attachments and backups.
• Network (optional): If you choose to store backups in your own cloud or email them.

4. Security

• Backups are encrypted with your personal PIN.
• We cannot access or restore your encrypted data if you lose your PIN.

5. Third-Party Services

Life Journal does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking libraries.

6. Your Control

• You can delete your data anytime from within the App.
• You control where your backups are stored.

7. Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect improvements or legal requirements. Updates will be posted here with a new “Last Updated” date.
